We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of HR experience. As an experienced HR Officer, you will contribute to the development, implementation, and optimization of HR policies and practices that foster a positive work environment and support organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
· Provide counselling on policies and procedures
· Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
· Create and implement effective onboarding plans
· Develop training and development programs
· Assist in performance management processes
· Support the administration of payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
· Conduct interviews and collaborate with hiring managers to identify top talent.
· Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
· Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
· Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
Requirements and skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role, with a strong background in general HR functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- HR certification i.e CIPM, PHRI is an added advantage
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and best practices.
- Proficient in MS Office
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
- Strong ethics and reliability
Salary range: 250k-300k
